COLLECTION OF OLD AND NEW NEWSPAPERS
The collection consists of newspapers and magazines published in the period from the end of the 19th century until today. They deal with politics, the economy, various aspects of social life. The collection contains party papers and magazines, newspapers published by private individuals, newspapers published by companies operating in this area, as well as newspapers published by various organizations and associations. Copies of the handwritten newspaper “Poklič” stand out in the collection. As a first-rate source for researching the past of Central Pomoravlje, the newspaper “Moravski glasnik”, published in Ćuprija in the period 1930-1940, edited and published by Bora D. Nikolić is of special importance. Of great importance is also the newspaper “Novi put”, which began to be published in 1945 and which became a real chronicler of events in that period.
