COLLECTION OF VIDEO MATERIALS

This is a newly formed collection that includes all films and photographs created on the basis of these moving images. There are four units in this collection. The first unit consists of a valuable group of 15 film tapes (9.5 mm (Pathé Baby) and 16 mm) that belonged to Emil Čerškov, an archaeologist and one of the founders of museum activities in this area. The second unit consists of 11 rolls of 16 mm film tape on which various events in Svetozarevo (a former name for Jagodina) in the period after 1955 to 1975 were recorded (the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Regional Museum in 1974 for example). The third unit refers to the work of the Cable Factory in Jagodina and its products. It consists of a group of 18 rolls of film, 3 video cassettes and 10 VHS cassettes. The fourth unit consists of 105 photographs showing the troops of the German 11th Armored Division in Jagodina on April 10, 1941. The photos were taken on the basis of film material made by a German cameraman who followed the performance of the mentioned German unit during the April War in 1941.
