Nevena Cvetković

Brief info

Nevena Cvetković, paleozoologist, senior curator of the Regional Museum of Jagodina in the Department of Natural History. She is the co-author of the current permanent museum exhibition, and several exhibitions of Museum. She participated in several important archaeological projects in which she analyzed archaeozoological material. Her research focus is on the study of the remains of extinct mammals of Neogene and Pleistocene age, as well as the complex taphonomic processes that led to their preservation.
Born in Jagodina, she graduated from the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade, Geological Section, Department of Paleontology in 2001. She has been working at the Regional Museum of Jagodina since 2004. Professional titles: curator (2006), senior curator (2020).
