He was also engaged in writing aphorisms and drawing caricatures.<\/strong><\/p><p>Branislav \u0110oki\u0107 was born in Jagodina in 1947. He graduated from the Higher Pedagogical School &#8211; painting departmentand also was an art history student. He worked as an art teacher. He founded and managed the gallery &#8220;\u0160&#8221; in the Elementary school in Poto\u010dac and the gallery &#8220;Odmor&#8221; in the school &#8220;17. October&#8221; in Jagodina. He lived and worked in Jagodina, where he had a private drawing and painting school. He participated in numerous humanitarian colonies and auctions. He exhibited at several collective exhibitions in the country and abroad, and independently nine times. He had his last solo exhibition in 2016 at the Regional Museum in Jagodina.<\/p><p>Branislav \u0110oki\u0107 Kan was a long-time associate of our institution. Not only did he regularly bring his students to the museum, but together we realized several interesting events, of which the most successful was the &#8220;First Mobi Photo Fest &#8211; Svetlopisi&#8221; that Kan organized with the students of Elementary School &#8220;17. October&#8221;. This was an exhibition of 130 photographs made by mobile phone, the authors of which were primary school students from Jagodina.<\/p><p>We will remember him as a witty man, a person of cheerful spirit, dedicated to his work. He tried to make the youngest generations aware of the need to nurture culture.
