The traditional event “Jefimija’s Days” was held in Trstenik from June 18 to 20, 2025. As part of the event, a round table was also held with the topic “Life in Serbian medieval lands”. The emphasis was on works about Princess Milica, given that this year marks the 620th anniversary of her death. The meeting was held on June 20, 2025 in the Council Chamber of the People’s University of Trstenik.<\/p>

The museum advisor of the Regional Museum of Jagodina, historian Du\u0161ko Grbovi\u0107, also participated in this meeting, speaking about the activities of Princess Milica (nun Evgenija) in the period from 1389 to 1405, which relate to the area of \u200b\u200bcentral Pomoravlje, Resava and Leva\u010d. It was also presented how her activities reflected on the modern history of Jagodina (the event “From Jagodina to Svetozarevo” in 1969; changing the names of streets in 1992; creating the coat of arms of Jagodina in 1997; establishing the feast day and day of the municipality (city) in 1997; unveiling the monument to Princess Milica in 2007).<\/p>

After the meeting, the participants of the round table visited the exhibition “Moravian Serbia \/ between reality and legend” in the Art Salon of the House of Culture. The author of the exhibition is historian Sonja Ruti\u0107 Vorotovi\u0107 from the National Museum in Kru\u0161evac.<\/p>

The papers will be published in the next issue of the magazine \u201cLjubostinjska prino\u0161enja\u201d. The patrons of the event were: Municipality of Trstenik and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.
