Duško Grbović
Brief info
Duško Grbović, historian, museum advisor of the Regional Museum of Jagodina in the History Department. He is the author of three monographs, over a hundred texts published in leaflets and catalogs of exhibitions, collections of papers, journals, local newspapers. He is also the co-editor of a war diary. He participated in the realization of four permanent Museum exhibitions (1992, 1996, 2001, 2011) and about thirty exhibitions. He was a participant in twenty-two conferences, where he should definitely mention his participation in the Tenth (last) Congress of Yugoslav Historians in 1998. A member of museum associations: The Serbian Museum Association (since 2002), current president of the the Serbian Museum Association Supervisory Board, secretary of the Historian Section of the Serbian Museum Association, IAMH (International Association of Museums of History; since 2012), ICOM National Committee Serbia (since 2017). His focus is on history (Serbian Middle Ages, 20th century) and all aspects of museology.
Born in Belgrade, he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Department of History in 1989. He has been working at the Regional Museum of Jagodina since 1990. Professional titles: curator (1993), senior curator (2001), museum advisor (2013).
