Sonja Perić
Brief info
Sonja Perić, archaeologist, senior curator of the Regional Museum of Jagodina in the Archaeological Department. She managed a multi-year project for the conservation of museum objects, with a focus on preventive conservation. She is the author of two exhibitions and catalogs: "Stone in Prehistory" and "Biberče", co-author of the current permanent museum exhibition and several exhibitions. She organized several creative-educational workshops, competitions and comic book exhibitions. She participated in the project "Permanent Archaeological Workshop - Central Pomoravlje in Neolithisation of South East Europe", archaeological excavations in Drenovac and Medjureč, as well as archaeological research of findspots and terrain prospecting in the territory of Jagodina, Ćuprija, Paraćin, Rekovac and Svilajnac. She is interested in prehistoric archeology, polished and abrasive stone tools and childhood archeology.
Born in Jagodina, she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade in 1998 at the Department of Archeology. She has been working at the Regional Museum of Jagodina since 2005. She is a member of the Serbian Archaeological Society since 2006. Professional titles: curator (2006), senior curator (2018).
